Quimitecnica Ambiente – Tratamento de Resíduos e Efluentes, SA; started trading in July 2001 as an independent legal entity, and was formed from an existing business owned by its parent company, which had gained significant relevant experience from its CUF and Quimigal businesses, and was a pioneer in waste management.

Quimitecnica Ambiente has its head-office in the Parque Empresarial do Barreiro, a facility in Estarreja’s industrial park, and onwn´s an oil wastewater treatment plant in Mitrena-Setubal (ECO-OIL) and operates nationally.

The company operates in the industrial waste sector, for which it is known nationally, as well as in other areas of environmental management; especially recycling, land remediation and soil decontamination, and in the provision of related services and consultancy.

Quimitecnica Ambiente has a young and university-educated technical team that is particularly strong in the area of engineering.
