Ponta Delgada hosted, on the 9th, 10th and 11th July, Ambitech Açores 2008 – Expoconferência de Água, Resíduos, Energia e Cidades.

This event was the first in Portugal focussing the innovation and technology in the areas of the environment and the cities; 49 exhibitors were present, of which 39 were companies and 10 public entities. The several stands could be seen in Pavilhão do Mar.

Quimitécnica Ambiente considered Ambitech Açores 2008 an “entry gate” for the strengthening of commercial contacts in Azores, as well as an opportunity to present the new solution for the treatment of industrial dangerous waste – the CIRVER Ecodeal (integrated centre for the recovery, valorisation and elimination of dangerous waste) recently opened. With these new premises the company has now solutions for the waste treatment and elimination, most of which were previously only possible abroad.

Quimitécnica Ambiente attended with a stand and participated in the workshop “New solutions for industrial waste”, in collaboration with our local partner TERCICLA, Indústria de Reciclagem, SA.
